Alicia & Kent’s Wedding Photography: Woods Chapel Ceremony & Loose Mansion Reception

July 18, 2016

Kent and Alicia had a most amazing wedding day with so much joy and emotion!  Their ceremony was at Woods Chapel United Methodist Church in Lee’s Summit.  Alicia’s mom and sister helped her into her gorgeous wedding dress and veil that her sister had worn during her own wedding while the guys joked around with each other and made sure everyone’s tie was in order.  Kent’s mother did the honor of pinning on his boutineer.

This first look took place in front of Kent and Alicia’s favorite window in the church.

The ceremony was perfect and the bubble exit is always fun.04_Wedding Photos Kansas City 05_Kansas City Photography tipton 6

The day was incredibly hot, so we had to be lighting fast with our outdoors portraits.  The wind was a blessing, and Alicia had fun with her veil blowing around.  The bridal party was great, and never once complained about the heat.  07_KC Wedding Photographer 08_KC Wedding Photography

The cocktail hour and wedding reception took place at Loose Mansion, in Kansas City.  The mansion is incredible with classic beauty, elegantly decorated, and the food was to die for.

I want to give a big thank you to Alicia and Kent for trusting me to capture their incredible wedding day.  It was an honor to work with you and your families and friends.

Yours,

Rebecca
