Congratulations to Paul and Sharla!  The preparations for their wedding day started with hair and makeup at the Westin in Crown Center in an absolutely fabulous room.   They got married in Kansas City over Easter weekend at the Pilgrim Chapel and hosted a small reception at Brio Tuscan Grill on the Plaza afterwards.  The warm weather was perfect for their day….their family was so happy for them both so there was much love in the air.   Their girls made exceptionally cute flower girls and added some bonus entertainment during the ceremony.  Soft pinks and creams with some beautiful bright color pops in the flowers were a gorgeous palate for a spring wedding….and I just adored the gold stitching in Sharla’s bridal gown.  It was stunning on her to say the least.  I loved how sweet Sharla and Paul are together, and I can see that emotion running throughout the photography of the day.  Let this wonderful family know how happy you are for them and leave them a comment below!

Sharla and Paul;  I wish you the very best life has to offer with great joy, laughter, and happiness.  Thank you for trusting me to photograph your special day.

Welcome to this world of ours, sweet baby Connor Allen.  I have anticipated your arrival for longer than you can imagine.  You are the hope I had for your mom and dad since before you were love in their hearts.  And now you are here, safe in your parents arms, little fingers and toes stroked lovingly.

In these images, Connor is only 7 days old.  I love everything about newborns, but his little piggies did wonders for my soul.  I love the way the hairs on his head swirl perfectly, the way his lips pucker, and that gassy smile he gave right after throwing a touch of a fit.  You are precious.   You are perfect.

Check out Kimberly & Brian’s wedding day slideshow!  I know they are waiting so patiently, but they just got back from their honeymoon in Belize, so what could be better than seeing your wedding day highlights?  OK…yes, I would also rather still be on that beach in Belize, but I’ll push for second best.
