Stunning is all I can say about Matt & Liz’s wedding. It was beautiful from beginning to end, and not just because of the incredible job they did in planning the special details and finding awesome vendors to work with.  It also had to do with the fact that Liz and Matt are an amazing couple.  And their friends and family were a blast to work with all day long.  The day started at the Ambassador Hotel in Downtown Kansas City.  My second photographer and I decided that we could shoot there all day long….it is a gorgeous hotel with great natural light in the Parlor Room.  Liz’s mom helped her into her beautiful wedding dress before her bridal party had their first look of Liz in her gown.  It was a special moment for them.

Downtown Lee’s Summit has so many great photo opportunities, so we had to take part in just  a few fun minutes before the reception party started.  Each of the guys had a special pair of socks picked out to specifically match their personality.  Love it. 11_Kansas City Wedding Photography Aspen Room12_Kansas City Wedding Photographer

Upon entering the reception venue, Matt & Liz had their first dance, which was stunning below the gorgeous chandeliers.  The mother & son dance was very sweet and the  father & daughter dance started off the same way…until they tore it up in some classically great dance moves.  Everyone was in stitches.
